Sir,
I have extended my H1b visa in Sept. 2010. I appeared for interview in New Delhi and submitted my Passport on 20th of April 2011 and today is 23rd of May 2011. What do you think that how much more time can they take?

Because of the shortage of talent companies are moving their operations abroad. Wells Fargo just announced they're opening a technical center in India. No wonder the H1B and EB visa reform is long overdue...

U.S. bank Wells Fargo on Tuesday said it plans in the fourth quarter to open a technology facility in Hyderabad, India, citing a shortage of qualified technical talent in the United States.
The San Francisco-based company said the opening is not a cost-cutting move, and will not result in the loss of U.S. jobs. It also said it will not employ customer service personnel or manage customer data at the facility.
U.S. commercial banks with large India operations include Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.
Wells Fargo said the facility will provide technology resources, including software development. It plans at first to hire 30 to 50 people for the facility, and might employ as many as 300 next year.
"This is simply about supply and demand," Victor Nichols, Wells Fargo's head of technology information, said in a statement. "Like most major U.S. companies, we're facing a shortage of qualified technical talent, and we're not able to continue to meet this growing demand for such talent here in the United States alone."
Nichols said U.S. computer science graduates have fallen by about one-third in the last four years, while more technology and operations specialists are coming from India.
Wells Fargo said it employs more than 153,000 people in North America. It expects to hire more U.S.-based technology specialists as talent becomes available.
"The comparatively small amount of work we're planning to do in India--the same as work done for us today by outside contractors, some in India--is not motivated by cost savings and thus will have no effect on our U.S.-based employment," Nichols said.

I need to clarify if you are working for employer A for say BS+7 yrs and want to apply GC through Employer A then the 7 yrs exp is not counted against experience ( very rare cases it can be considered if the new position is completely different)
IF you are processing your GC for future employment with say Employer B then the 7 yrs is counted.

Hi All,
I opened a service request with USCIS when my I485 was current in 09/08 and i got response saying that still investigation into my background remains open, so the case is not yet ready for decision. I filed my I 485 in August 2005 and in july 2007(then my file was current) also i was told that the background check is still going on.
Now we know that if it has been more than 180 days after we file I485, no need to wait for background check to process the petetion. My intention is to get my file out of this loop by the time PD becomes current. If any one had this issue and got it resolved, please advise me how i can handle it.

Today I found out there was a soft LUD on my I485 application. I am not sure what it is. How can I find what is going on with my I-485 application. Befre that there was a soft LUD on my travel document which I file in 2007 after that I did not file that. I just want to know what is going on with my application. Please let suggest.

EB1 was applied under the Extraordinary ability. I also have a EB2-NIW I-140 cleared as well. Hope that answers your question.

Congratulations!!.
The H4 process should be an easy one and first time, should be no problems. Not sure whether they will do Back ground check on a H4, till end of 2007 all of my friends got it pretty quick, in about 3 to 4 days.
They implemented PIMS after Nov 2007. So your H1 may get slight delay and not sure about new H4 rules.

I called an IO today at Texas.
Last week they told me that due to glitch they never printed my fp notice.
The IO I talked to then, said that she was going to generate one and mailed to me.
I talked to another lady today and she said that notice was mailed last Thursday! She told me my appointment is on July 26 at 9:00 am but I dont have the NOA yet.... I dont know what to do I dont want to miss my appointment
The lady said she will sent another one today..... I hope I get it, please let me know if you guys have any advice

my friends travelled on AP for about 2 months and they entered without any problem and their employment based AOS is pending in NSC. nt sure abt your case, check about your situation with USCIS or with your attroney, may be your case is different.

Walk into near by ASC with your FP notice, explain the situation, they will be able to accomadate you for FP. I read in the forum Wednesday's are usually good for walk-ins. Good Luck!
Dear Friends, I may be repeat the question which may asked by some one before, plz bear with me.
we received FP notice for me and spouse (not yet for kid (<5) ) which scheduled in Nov-24 at Charlotte, NC and we moved to CA months back.
1. do we need to call USCIS to change the location and date ?.
2. or can we go directly to the nearest ASC and request for it , showing the FP notice ?.
3. I have updated the address in USCIS using online AR-11 already.
Plz share your experience/advise...

i think you needed two light sources for this, one coming in from the left to lessen or remove the shadows. Some more DOF? Yes and No depends on what you're after. Flwoers of this colour are so hard to photo IMHO. Reds and flowers always give me grief. I like this rendition of the colour.. Were you happy?

if that is the case that means you have completed ur studies.
The other option would be enroll for a second MS...and try to go find a job on CPT?
i would not travel out on a OPT...
if you really want to travel...travel when ur F1 is valid.

Since my F1 visa stamping is expiring, what is my possibility of visiting India after May ’09? Is there any possibility of extending my F1 Visa for another couple of yrs without leaving the country and continue on my OPT? Or any other suggestions? Please help me..
