Hi
Does any one know what this message means? I am pasting it below, I havent opted from consular processing then why would my I-485 go to NBC? I am a July 2007 filer for my I-485

On December 18, 2008, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case. We sent you a notice of this transfer. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Folks,
I was current starting Sept 1 and did not get my GC till Oct second week. However, during the first week of Oct., I wrote a detailed letter to Secy. Napolitano and also to the Ombudsman. I got my GC subsequently. Yesterday, someone from USCIS called me and said that he was calling in response to my letter to Secy. Napolitano. He congratulated me on my GC and asked me if everything had gone OK and if he could close my letter out. Just thought that this information might help someone who is stuck in the queue of being current, but not getting a GC. Please file 7001 form with Ombudsman and contact Secy Napolitano if you are in this situation.

Eb2 Priority date (priority date-june2004) , I-140 approved
Eb3 priorty date (substituted labor with priorit date as feb2002) applied for I-140 on
1st jun 2007 .waiting for i-140 approval.
Should I file for i-485 on Eb2 where I-140 is already approved or use Eb3 where I-140 is pending but priorty date feb2002 ????????????

Dear friends, i would like to share my experience regarding the earlier post. My brother as i told you had surrendered his I-94 to the airline while departing for canada.
He went to the US immigration at Toronto airport and the officer asked him for his I-94 which he told that airline had taken from him. Officer told that the airline was wrong in doing so and called his superior who told that it was not a problem and they issued him with a new I-94 card with out a problem and he got back into the US.
i guess the lesson is not to panic and carry all your doccuments with you. In summary, automatic visa revalidation works but please do not surrender your old or new I-94 to the ailrine if you are planning to visit canada or mexico for < 30 days.

Are you saying client company will not pay for the expenses or it will not sponsor H1 visa? If the Client Company does not sponsor H1 visa, i do not think you an sponsor yourself.You can pay for your expenses if client company sponsors H1 visa.

USCIS will consider only your qualifications and experience only at the time of applying for labor against the jobs requirements. You dont have to update USCIS with your latest qualifications.

Hi Guys,
In the instructions to file EAD they say to print name and alien receipt number on the back of the photos.
What number should we write? I-485 receipt number or receipt number for last EAD?
Can someone please respond?
