Whats the point of donating after you get your Green card? Donate now in place of later and you can benefit from your own donation...and IV can get that money sooner :)

I am also in the same situation and I asked my attorney. He said that if we can get notarized affidavits from Parents then it is sufficient. So get the format from your attorney and get it signed by your parents. They need at least 2 affidavits who were present at the time of the birth.

My wife is planning to go for H4 visa stamping in October. My question is can she go alone and what kind of documents she need. Our I-485 applications have reached USCIS on July 2nd. Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Also... You can submit your husbands work papers as you are a dependent.
If you are an engineer then definitely you should have an ecnr but you can have what ever is on your current passport

I think, if you don't have labor doc, you can go to FLCDataCenter.com (http://www.flcdatacenter.com/) and search for MS Access document for the year when you file for the labor. If you have the number from the LC doc, search for that number in the access file and you will find the details of your case.

Lucky you�you can make plans like these. Most folks visiting this site are stuck in retrogression. Most will be willing to do AOS or Consular Processing, even if it means going to US Consulate on the north pole, if only it were to be allowed....Best of luck, hope you have fun making this choice

My wife and I plan to go to Delhi in the first week of Feb, have not booked the actually appointment yet but plan to. Couple of questions.
Was the calendar fairly open in Delhi for you to book appointments? Can you suggest a hotel that you stayed in and liked, etc..?

Luckily I have relatives living in Tuglak Rd, I stayed with them. It was 10 mins ride from there to Embassy. I have stayed in Claridges(5 star) before(my prior trip), it is very close to where I was staying. It should be a short commute to Embassy from there.

Wait for 30 days from the EAD mailing date and open a SR with USCIS and take infopass appointment. Discuss the issue with CSR & IO. They will tell you exactly what you need to do.

In my opinion, USCIS should grant Company C's H-1 petition though they may deny any extension request and thus company C's petition would only be valid through the 2011 date of Company A's petition. You will then have to travel out of the US to get an H-1 visa stamp before the 2011 date.
Do you think, I won't have problem even I do not have paystubs for October, 2008. I gave my OPT card, OPT I20 and latest pay stubs of Company B (until September 2008) and Company C (until June, 2009). Would they work? Please let me know. Thanks a lot for your advice.

That is an exact copy and paste, it says imported images can be used. Also, even if it isn't stated, I think it is implied that you can.
Just be sure they aren't copywrited because then you can get in copywrite trouble :(

My NC is pending. And I am not getting the GC because of that. A lot of people with Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr 2006 are getting theirs and quite handful with 2003/2004 are stuck. What could be the reason for this inconsistency, obviously NC.

1) current visa stamp has already expired, so I have to apply for a new stamp(this is the key question: how long is the visa stamp? 3-moth or only till June 30?)2) the validity of new I-797 approval notice will till 2010. I guess it will be approved next month.

As far as I know if your current visa is valid until June30 , 2007 and you go to stamping with that visa , your new stamp will only be valid until June30 , 2007. You can enter US by that date. You will probably asked proof about new extension if you travel to wards end of month. Since your visa stamp is expired you MUST get new stamping before re-entering the US.

yes, you need passport size photograph (2x2 inch) for AP/EAD. when you file I-485, you will file EAD/AP and for that you need photographs. you need atleast 2 photographs for EAD and 2 photographs for AP. check the photograph specifications in EAD/AP form instructions or in USCIS website. USCIS is very specific about the photograph, I know couple of friends whose EAD applications are sent back when they did meet their specifications. so pay attention to their specifications.

Aliens who have advanced degree in science,technology,engineering or math and have been working in a related field in US under a non immigrant visa during the 3 year period preceding their application should be exempt from numerical limits.

Most students apply under the regular quota to make sure they have a visa after their OPT...
One can apply under the 20k quota only when they have the degree. Many students postpone their graduation and directly get into the regular H1b pool

I wanted to find out if the past donations made by people like me are good enough to get us donor status. But I have only landed with circuitous answers to this issue.
Honestly, I couldn't give less tail about the donor status. What I really care about is being up-to-date with what is happening so that I can lend a helping hand in ways I can.
It seems like maybe some action is going down in the donor forums and ppl like us are left to wonder what is up. I don't think anyone cares to even post updates,albeit delayed, in the open forums about what is happening. It is just making for a really dry experience with IV lately.
